Honestly, if Atlanta is healthy and good enough to beat Miami, they win this series.

Not sure about that. I think Deron and Durant could combine for 70 points every single night in this series.

If Deron couldn't put those numbers up on Nate Robb, I don't see it happening here.

I'd be surprised if Indy gets more than a game or two.  Atlanta seems like the far superior team.

Lopez/Scola will get murdered.  Not to mention Wade will have a field day their weak SG's.

I like Indiana over Atlanta. I think their starting lineups are pretty even but Indy has a better bench (Brand>Len, Stuckey>Lin) and better coach. I think that gives them the edge in the series.

I find it funny that you seem to comment so much in definitives when your actually 100% wrong

Lopez vs Nene Last year

Lopez 24 mpg, 4 ppg, 57% fg, 6 rpg
Nene 21.5 mpg, 9.5 ppg, 29% fg, 6 rpg

Nene more points but on alot more shots at a worse percentage, rebounding pretty much even.

Boozer vs Scola since 2012
Scola 36 mpg, 21.33 ppg, 56% fg, 11 rpg
Boozer 33.3 mpg, 19.67 ppg, 52% fg, 12.3 rpg

Can I get the definition of murdered because im not seeing it here.

I'm leaning Atlanta, as well. People sometimes forget that Wade is still a superstar, and Atlanta's depth is just better. Plus, Atlanta has at least some interest in playing defense.

Yeah, I would rate Scola and Boozer as a fairly even matchup too.

Both players are effective scorers in the paint who have very good jump-shots in the high post and are above average passers (Boozer high level passer low and high post, Scola merely good). Both players are plodders defensively who provide little to no rim protection and frequently are liabilities on that end of the floor. Boozer is a very strong rebounder while Scola is a bit below average but I think Scola matches up well in terms of boxing out a rebounder like Boozer (similar physical traits, Scola fundamentally sound player).

So I would say Boozer has an ever so slight advantage but it is minimal and not worth much. I think this matchup is even for the most part.

I do think Nene has an advantage over Robin Lopez.

R.Lopez has improved his offensive game considerably over the last few years but I don't think he is on par with Nene yet. And with Nene getting to play off of D-Wade + P.Pierce and having a highly skilled big like Boozer alongside him, I think Nene is going to be very effective offensively as an undersized C in Atlanta. Like Nene was at his best in Denver (15ppg threat, 63-66% TS%). Nene a more cerebral offensive player. A very good passer for a center unlike R.Lopez who averages considerably more turnovers than assists.

Both players are below average rebounders. I trust Nene's smarts and dependability defensively over R.Lopez' inconsistency on defense despite R.Lopez' superior size/length and shot-blocking ability.

I thought Nene was very good for Washington last year when he played. In a different role than he has here in Atlanta (as a PF alongside a limited offensive C like Okafor). I think Nene is still a very effective player and above average starting center.

My guys are interested, frank is a very good defensive coach.

this is a tough one for me. as of now I am leaning towards the pacers, but im not overly convinced or confident bc its a close matchup.  I need to hear what both clubs say today b4 I vote.
