Congrats you are going to slow down Kobe, either way he is still going to get his 25+ points.

Lakers' record when Kobe scored 25+ points last season:  21-27

Lol.  ;D What is their playoff record when Kobe scores 25+ points or more?

By the way I put lol because I genuinely found it funny. (though I know it's true)

2012:  3-4
2011:  1-2

Too lazy to go back further than that, and I'm not sure that going back to 2010 is that relevant, anyway.

When Kobe is asked to do it alone at this stage of his career, his team is more likely to lose.  I think Orlando is asking too much from him.

Not draft Kobe. ;)

I didn't.  I inherited a roster of Kobe and everything he needed to win (aka nothing else).

I think people are a little skeptical of Kobe, after we just saw his team struggle spectacularly fail despite being in the top-two in terms of talent.

There's only two things in this world that Kobe Bryant is afraid of: loopholes in non-disclosure agreements, and not being able to give enough to get his best roster in years past Al Horford.  He'll get it done, or blow something else out trying.

It's always interesting when people talk about "best roster in years", especially in the CB Draft sense.

If somebody put together a squad of:

Howard
Gasol
Kobe
Nash

... and filled it in with MWP, Blake, Clark, Hill, Meeks, Jamison, etc., would there have been any doubt that that team was essentially assured a CB Draft championship?

Isn't it fair to ask, if Kobe can't win with that roster, who can he win with?

To be fair, that's basically what happened prior to the 13 season.

Teammates who fit around him and a championship-caliber coach?

Is it fair to ask if Celtics fans promoting the idea that Kobe can never win again, no matter how good his roster is or who's across from him, might be engaged in wishful thinking?  I remember when Kobe was never going to win anything again back in 2004.
