Great photo. Call me an old fuddy duddy but I liked the days when players all wore the same colored shoes. Don't care what brand just have everyone wear all green or all black shoes with white logos.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Gordon Hayward now looks like a person who constantly says, "Chase your bliss, friend."

like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

Interesting size comparisons. If Brown is 6'7 and Hayward is 6'8, then Tatum looks to be a legit 6'9, and he's gained some weight.

Kyrie is being interviewed right now, a couple points of interest:

1. He wants #11 in the rafters someday, it's a "dream" of his. Loves being part of the "lineage" of the Celtics

2. He wants to be a leader. His comments to Jackie MacMullen were in part an effort to be transparent so he can lead better and maintain confidence within the organization that they will be contending for several years.

3. He feels great physically

4. He feels the Celtics are in a remarkable situation going forward with their talent level, to the point where he feels slightly frightened by expectations.

5. We will likely eventually be getting an Uncle Drew 2.

6. He really seems to appreciate his Sioux ancestry.

I can't believe the first preseason game is this Friday.

Did Hayward add muscle? He looks bigger. What style of Nike's is he wearing? I'm surprised by the lack of ankle support though in those sneakers. I wonder if he'll be wearing some type of support, other than just tape.

Smart was talking earlier about how he feels much more relaxed now that his contract is settled. Nice interview, I've never seen him talk for so long but he really does seem bright.

He's also been working on finishing through contact around the rim. Good news, I say.

Hopefully he can continue to grow offensively now that he doesn't have the contract looming over his head.

Theis is up now, he seems really excited about the potential of the team. Much like everyone else who has been interviewed. LOL he is remarkably cheery, very pleased to get back on the court. Even Marcus Morris sounded legitimately giddy, Good stuff.

If Hayward will be the player he was 2 seasons ago in Utah, then this can be a team with a ring!
kyrie Irving is one of the best NBA players!
