Rondo's out....

That's OK. I'd rather he miss a few games than the injury linger for a few months.

They shouldn't even need Rondo to beat these types of teams. Nate has been filling in admirably anyway. 20-point game and a double-double. 67% from the field and 7-11 from downtown. Must be fun playing with those other 4 starters.

He could probably miss the next two games and the C's not miss a beat. Hopefully he is back by the start of December (for our only tough stretch for the rest of 2010 - POR, CHI, @NJ, DEN) when we need him.

Rondo's out....

How have the C's performed without Rondo the last couple games?  Have they adjusted to get good ball movement and step up passing (at least sometimes?).  Or is it pretty much just the C's without Rondo?

7-1 assist to TO for a backup?  Wow!  I know we are blessed, but man o' man.  Hope he keeps it up tonight!

They run a lot more pick and roll with Nate in the game. They'll use it to get the defense working and frequently look to get the ball down low. They also do a lot of dribble drive motion with Ray and Paul to create space for them to work with.

As the game goes on Pierce also ends up handling the ball more, KG/Shaq still get a post touches too but not a lot more.

I just don't like that 'It's all about 18' spot.

I don't like them talking about 18.  It feels wrong.  It's got a very jinxy feel for me.  Wish they'd take it off.

I don't see how them saying its all about winning a title is jinxy. I mean they aren't exactly recording the super shuffle.
