Coach Popovich sends out the call.

All former & current Spurs players…reunite, for one final run.

San Antonio Spurs

Murray
White
Leonard
Wembanyama
Landale

Vessell, Johnson, Anderson, Sochan, Eubanks, Walker IV, Jones

—————————

How would this team perform for the 2023-24 season?

* Please note the caveat being players selected were ones that got their start with the Spurs.

I would probably replace Landale with Poeltl, but that team would do pretty well all things considered. If Wemby is 1/2 as good his rookie year as people think he is, thats a great team.

Well and Kawhi. He is more likely than not to miss a huge chunk of the season, so you always have to consider that.

I think the starting team could have spacing issues in the modern NBA, but an overall incredibly skilled team.

Jakob Poeltl got his start in Toronto (two seasons) unfortunately.

Low seed playoff team. Kawhi would only play half a season I expect so I have a tough time putting them higher than that. Once they get into the playoffs, they would be capable of making a run dependent on Kawhi staying healthy.
