Watching the Clips.

Literally painful. Sending Doc to LA was the right thing  :-\
Deandre Jordan only averaging 10 a game is a joke. That dude could easily score 20 a game and shoot close to 60 percent while doing that.

Eh - he doesn't really have good post moves, or any other kind of go-to shot.  Plus any offensive skills he might develop would fairly easy to neutralize by just fouling him instead of letting him get off the shot.
He was dominating last year when Blake was out, and he doesn't need great post moves when he get get positioning 5 feet out from the hoop.

He had some nice games but didn't even crack a 15 point average over the 15 games Blake missed with his injury.  That's not really dominating on offense by any measure.  And we'll have to agree to disagree on whether having offensive moves is important for scoring consistently.

ehm, i ve discussed this a lot with clips fans. many of them think that DJ has no post moves- which is actually true.

But IMO with the incredible athleticism and body that he has, he can score simply by using these, esp. at fast breaks. IMO he is being wasted the way the Clips play now.
Yeah if the man had post moves like Al Jefferson he would score 40 a game. But he does have enough game to be able to finish around the hoop and average 20 plus. Just needs to get the ball down low.

He posted a number of games over 20. The ability is there.

IT on JJ, yuck.  I hate having to double guys who aren't exceptional, or even ordinary at this point in their careers.

Indeed. Looks like a good time to lean on Turner a bit more tonight.

I don't like IT + AB on the floor together. Giving up too much size, too much overlap in offensive game.

Slow 1st quarters are our thing again.
