1. Bucks vs Heat - Bucks win 5

2. Raptors vs Pistons - Raptors win 4

3. Philly vs Nets - Philly wins 5

4. Indy vs Celtics - Celtics win 6


Round 2 - The dog fight begins

1. Bucks vs Celtics - Celtics win game 1 mentally Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. the Bucks and 6 very very close games and the Celtics get some respect from the refs for help.

2. Raptors vs Philly - Raptors win 5 - Philly to me are pretenders

Round 3 - The match up everyone expected.

1. Raptors vs Celtics - Raptors win in 7 - Both teams can't win a road game however Raptors got home court and that's the difference.


This is my personal opinion, obviously there's some wishful thinking here considering how pathetic the Celtics have been all year but with all that said I truly believe when the playoffs start the best player in the conference is Kawhi Leonard just because of how complete he is and his defense travels.

Pessimistic, I know..but it's crazy to think the Celtics problems are simply going to vanish when they get to the playoffs, especially considering how much better the east is this year. Coasting in the regular season then turning it on for the playoffs worked for the 09-10 team because it was chalk full of vets with a lot of playoff mileage and experience between them. This years team is just too young and inexperienced for us to expect they can just flip a switch in the playoffs.

This is exactly why the NBA isn't fun anymore. You can pretty much pencil GoldenState in as champs every year since that snake Durant signed there. Although, them winning a title with 5 all-stars is like bowling a strike with the bumpers up, so I hope they don't think these titles actually count for much. Let's hope free agency changes the NBA from a 1 team league because this is getting ridiculous.

To be honest I would prefer to play Philly than Indy. Indy remind me of us last year when we lost Hayward and then Kyrie...they're all playing with nothing to lose and everything to prove. No egos, no entitlement, no complaining, no bickering, just an underrated team that has been brought together by an injury to their best player and determined to prove everyone wrong.

It's also hard to believe just how horrible we've been in the playoffs on the road under Brad Stevens. I expect this trend to continue and don't like our chances, even on the road in a Game 7 against Indiana in the first round.

It's also hard to believe just how horrible we've been in the playoffs on the road under Brad Stevens. I expect this trend to continue and don't like our chances, even on the road in a Game 7 against Indiana in the first round.

Brad Stevens is like 5-16 on the road during the playoffs. 5-16. Let that sink in.

Those 5 wins? Round 1 2017 Game 3, Game 4, and Game 6 (the only series the Celtics closed out on the road in the Brad Stevens era), ECF 2017 Game 3 (lucky Avery Bradley buzzer), 2018 Round 2 Game 3 (the infamous confetti game).

Yeah, Brad Stevens needs to do a better job at winning games on the road esp in the postseason.

a bit early since the playoffs are over a month away but what the heck, here goes:

1 Milwaukee vs 8 Charlotte (I think Charlotte takes over the 8th spot).  Milwaukee in 4.
2 Toronto vs 7 Brooklyn.  Toronto in 5.  I Brooklyn's scrappiness gets them one at home
3 Philly vs 6 Detroit.  Philly in 6.   Drummond and Blake give Philly a lot to handle and their supporting cast in Detroit gets hot for a couple of games
4 Indy vs 5 Celtics.  C's in 6.  I think C's make the push in the playoffs to actually play well.

1. Mil vs 5. Celtics.  Mil in 6.   wish I had reason to be more optimistic but instead of coming together down the stretch, the wheels are coming off for the C's.  Season ends far earlier than it should have with this roster.  on to the AD pursuit.
2. Tor vs 3 Philly.  Tor in 5.  Toronto is no longer the playoff patsies in years past.  they take it to Philly and bury them.

1 Mil vs 2 Tor.  Mil in 7.  HCA gets Mil to the finals as does a ridiculous amount of all-star calls for Giannis.  will be considered one of the best playoff series in years bringing in viewers that normally tune out once their teams are eliminated.
