I think it will be a minor one, but they'll do something.

Probably something wrong  ;D

I think we make no trades but are active in buyout market.

I don't think we make a trade either.  I think our team chemistry is pretty good and we don't find what we need for an acceptable price.
IE just like most years at the trade deadline.

That's most likely. If Snell has something left, he's a pretty good get.

I agree.

At the least energy guys with niche skills that are reliable. One thing I loved about Nesmith dude had energy out there just wasn't skilled yet. AB was another good energy guy. Consistency in effort and some skill would be great. Our bench be streaky along with most the starters. I'm talking with energy and skill that's a rough situation. Team could use some guys that love the game and are hungry to battle.

Well said! PP brings high energy but plays sparingly.

Energy, toughness, and late game clutch.  Who is Posey or Eddie House on this team?  Rob can make things happen defensively but is limited on offense.  Brogdon is a plus. White can bring energy and movement. Someone also needs to get in the Jays faces and remind them that they aren’t the only players out there - with 18 seconds on the clock. Should be Joe but also a respected player might help.  The ISOs and the 3s are feast or famine, with too much famine.  This teams needs an infusion of something.  Could happen with the current roster, or the right addition(s) could turn out to be huge for this run.

Re: clutch - a lot of Cs have moments but I don’t see any as having the serious clutch gene. One thing I’m getting more convinced of is that I like the ball in Brogdon’s or White’s hands more so than either Jay.   That doesn’t mean I necessarily want DW or MB shooting over the Jays, but they are more reliable with the ball, they move the ball, and, if I have to choose between an open shot v. a harassed Jay shot - I’ll take the open shooter.

Marcus has shown some clutch, but like DW and MB when he moves the ball, passes, and drives, he helps. When he looks for his 3 I want to scream.

I mean, Kyrie is available now.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/35583014/source-kyrie-irving-asks-nets-trade-ahead-deadline

If I remember correctly, he was a good fit here and we parted on good terms.

Yeah, the fans here just love Kyrie.  Just plug him into the line up and don't miss a beat.

If we need someone to quit on us against the Bucks then he's our man!

he was awesome at that!  very hard to find skillset

A total quitter that plans on leaving at the All-Star game is hard to find!

Such a prize ….a flat earther to boot
no one can get the Garden crowd chanting his name like him.

Inclined to agree with these.
Man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much—the wheel, New York, wars and so on—whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time.

But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man—for precisely the same reasons.

I'll be happy when the trade deadline is over. I'm checking for trades a couple of times an hour.

Kevin Durant  ;D

What about TJ Warren?  He’s on a $2.6 million one year deal.
A second rounder might do it if the Nets accept that their season is over.  He could be the backup wing we need to reduce the J’s minutes.
