they were +10 in his 26 minutes and -21 in the 22 minutes he was on the bench

and he still turns down layups at the rim, for forced passes to team mates that end up as turnovers.
the 0 points def matters..  Yeah good on him for the assists but he is getting paid a lot, hard to believe that the Nets are fine with 0 points either.

Doesn't that break some streak Tatum had of 25+ point games? Did that have something to do with his iso gunning in the 4th?

It does break a streak, tho I put it down to tired legs and the Nets totally loading up on him. If he cared about the streak, he should’ve gone to the rim.

Yeah, not a bad strategy with Brown and Horford out.  Stop Tatum with Doubles and see if the rest of the team can beat you.  Good idea, good for the rest of the Celtics (and Tatum, 5 assists) for responding.

And did Simmons really not score a point?  (yes per the box score).  I didn't catch that at first.  Wow, he  really is a deeply troubled young man.  This is all in his head.  But to have the "yips" for like 3 years, really tragic.  I actually hope he gets over this.  Maybe after the Nets trade him or something, but I don't enjoy watching such a waste of talent.

I'm very glad to have the local broadcasts so I can avoid the TNT games.  Reggie Miller is terrible.

Also, the refs were horribile.  My spouse and I instituted a technical foul system for me this year so I don't yell at the refs too much, and if I get two T's for my complaining she turns off the game.  Got my first T since the night Mazz and Grant were tossed (I got ejected that game too.)
