There are some recently waived players that I hope Brad will consider. Definitely could use upgrades at the Wing and Center position…

Derrick Favors (upgrade over Kornet)
Emmanuel Mudiay (upgrade over Jackson, Hauser)
PJ Dozier (upgrade over Jackson, Hauser)
Cody Zeller (upgrade over Kornet)

Also believe Abdel Nader is recovering from injury, but he would be better than Hauser and Jackson as well. I don’t like that the C’s have so many project players with: Kornet, Hauser, Vonleh, Jackson, Davison, Kabengele.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don’t think he’s a good enough athlete. His defense seems suspect and his offense is limited to spot up 3’s. Think I prefer Jackson over Hauser, tbh.

I think that Hauser, Vonleh, Jackson, and Kornet are at or near their peaks. You may not like them but they aren't really project players at this point.

I know Kornet has only a $1M guarantee if waived before 1/10; is it the same with the contracts of Vonleh and Jackson, too?

That maybe why we were willing to fill all spots on our roster. We will have some continuity with the SL and preseason guys, but can upgrade down the line if desired; and it won’t cost us too much in tax dollars.

Anyway, yeah, I’d love Favors right now over any of Griffin, Vonleh, Kornet, or Jackson.

How does his defence seem suspect? He plays fine defence.

Jackson is much worse.

I just think he’s too slow to be a good individual defender.

That's alright for our scheme (when we have both Rob & Al).

I think he is too slow as a point of attack defender but he's a good team defender and knows where he should be on the floor.

Is Dozier healthy? What's Mudiay good at?

Mudiay looked like it was finally starting to click for him in 2018-20. No idea what happened.

He was a guy I loved as a draft prospect

Favors looks interesting. I’d keep Hauser though over any of those other guys. Hauser’s role is to be a deadeye three point threat. We’ve seen how he excelled in that role during the pre season games. Dozier over Justin Jackson would be nice also.

According to Woj he is.

Dozier (knee) has been cleared to resume all basketball activities and will be available for the start of preseason training camp, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Also, Mudiay is a career 11pts, 3rebs, 4ast per game. He’s an established player and the C’s could use a few more of those.
