It doesn't usually happen in the U.S. thankfully, but one notable example was actually in Canada. Not the field, but after the Canucks in hockey lost the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals to the Bruins in 7 games (Game 7 was at Vancouver), there were riots and even some violence in Vancouver afterwards. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_Vancouver_Stanley_Cup_riot

Nice to see the Bruins win the championship on the road. I know Los Angeles goes crazy when their team wins the championship. Windows getting smashed, rioting and stuff
Luckily, that’s mostly unheard of in American sports.Riots when a team wins or loses? Sometimes. But there haven’t similar attacks by large groups storming the floor.
