Rodman's daughter 2nd pick in NWSL draft

That would be soccer.  One of the best young players in the game and is now the youngest player ever drafted by the NWSL as she is just 18.  She was going to go to Washington St. but the pandemic delayed the season and she went pro.  Her brother plays for the Washington St. basketball team. 

Always interesting to see how kids of great players end up, especially those that play the same sport.  Like DJ Rodman who is no where near the player his father was (he is a rotation player on 9-2 WSU, so not bad, just not NBA quality), but the Worm's daughter seems to be on the path towards potential greatness in soccer.

Her name is Trinity, and yes, she's a very good prospect. She could be special, but I'm a bit concerned about her ending up in Washington. They're track record for player development hasn't been the best. Although they have made more of a commitment to that area over the past season.

And after winning rookie of the year and helping her team win the championship, she is now the highest paid player in the league's history.  1.1 million over 4 years.
