Officially waived and signed, for 2 years $13.3m fully guaranteed.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/34223836/agent-danilo-gallinari-reaches-two-year-133-million-deal-boston-celtics

2nd year is a player option.

With his buyout from the Spurs he'll be making approximately $30MM over the next two years.  Not too bad to average $15MM at his age, for his career accolades.

Gallinari seems like a great pick up.  He is the scoring length they have been talking about for a while.  I think he will play well opposite RWill and maybe even better opposite Horford.  And for those small ball, 1-big line ups that many seem to like so much, I think he will be fine in that role too.  It will probably be the least seen combination but even Gallinari and Grant, the killer Gs, I think will be very effective against many line ups.

That is a lot of looks we can put out there with him.  I am very happy with the deal (if you can't tell).

Don’t hate the 8! Not too many single digits jerseys available.

Antoine 'Employee #8' Walker is the first one I think of.

Same here.  I use the Employee #8 in casual conversations attempting to be funny.  I always get strange looks with what the hell are you talking about.  Obviously not Celtics fans.
