That one was great.

I also liked his explanation of what happened to Pierce when he went down:

Gary was over reacting and getting all stupid.

Tommy watched the reply and said, "I don't think he hyperextended it...(long long pause....)...I think.......(pause)....he hit his shinbone."

Thank you dr henisoohn!

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
I was just hoping Tommy would punch out Tanguay. Especially when he tried to sympathize with the Refs. "Tommy where up 10 and if we cut the turnovers down we should have this one" I could feel Tommy's frustration through the set when Tanguay said that.

my favorite from last night was....

"Gary: Andrei Kirilenko first started playing pro ball in Russia when he was 15 years old...

Tommy:  Well it was either that or join the army.

Gary: BWAHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

What does Tommy expect Okur to do?  Celts were in the penalty from 7:39 to go in the quarter, and parading to the line as the refs came up with the usual home cookin'...

Why give the C's another 2 ft attempts, they ended +16 ft attempts in the quarter, as the C's never got into penalty status.

i think most teams would roll the dice giving a bad free throw shooter like Perk 2 shots at the line as opposed to a easy lay in.  Especially if theyre already in the penalty.

Another classic, I dont know if it was against the Jazz or the game before. I think the ref was really horrible, and Tommy said something along the lines of...

"Oooohhhhhh he has been terrible all night...(tv focuses on ref chewing gum)...and look he's just chompin away!!!"

Ofcourse you have to picture it in Tommy's voice. LOL

  • You know my methods, Watson.
...and the first thought that popped into my mind when he said that was mark blount.
"It was easier to know it than to explain why I know it."
