What the hell are these so-called Celtics fans at the Garden thinking????

That's the kind of crap I'd expect from Fakers fans.

Spoiled little brats in their $200 dollar seats, that's all they are.

I hate this new brand of Celtics fans that's been ushered in by the Big 3. YOU DON'T BOO YOUR OWN TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.

I agree.  I had to turn.  I couldn't stand listening to them boo the team, even though they sort of deserve it.  I never boo my team no matter what.

Lebron is hitting EVERY shot and everyone else is getting layups because he's drawing so much attention.

Celtics band-wagoners that don't know anything about basketball make me so mad. The same idiots that did the Scal chant... I'm disgusted.

I disagree.  If they're getting outhustled all over the floor, they need to be booed.  I would not boo if I were seeing maximum effort, but I'm not seeing it, so I have no problem with it.

It's actually the more knowledgeable fans who are booing.  They can discern between max effort and something much less.  The know-nothings cheer any kind of substandard effort.

Agreed, booing does not do anything. The team needs energy, not us to deflate them. Fact is the Cavs are flat out playing better than us right now, but we are still Celtics fans, and we need to continue to support them!
Anything is possible!!!

At least show some fight. Pierce laughing like its nothing. They basically gave up in this game.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
who cares?  probably 40% of them are there for something other than the actual game...

i disagree...this team deserves to get booed, as do mauer and salvadore. the effort stinls, i do not have $200 lying around, but if i did and spent it on this, i would be livid.

That said - I can't stand the booing.

Do you want them to cheer? You deserve to get boo'd when you're losing a playoff game by 30 at home. This isn't little league where everyones gets a juice box and a pat on the back.

Booing before the playoffs = ok
Booing during the playoffs = not ok
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.
