Pau Gasol. 

LA is 117-36 since aquiring him and IMO he has become best big-man in the West. 

His efficiency in the playoffs last year was insane.  Without him, LA isn't a contender.

also, Chauncy Billups.

He's led his teams to SEVEN straight Conference Finals appearances and he replaced a HOF-er and immeadiatly elevated Denver from fringe playoff team to Western Conference contender. 

Billups is one of the greatest team leaders of all time at the pg position.

Kevin Garnett, Manu Ginobili, Lamar Odom.  Honorable mention to Dirk Nowitzki.  Would have said Pau Gasol before the Lakers won the title, but (at least on message boards) since they won he has been at least getting his due, if not a bit more.
