This is why its bad he is injured this year.

WE DONT NEED THEIR EXCUSES

Bottom line: people remember who won the title, not the excuses of the losing team.

I already said it in another thread...

If they wanna make the Bynum excuse just tell them, "I hear ya... we would have won in 1987, 1988, 1989, etc if Bird hadn't been injured and if one of our franchise players hadn't died before putting on a Celtic jersey."

you forgot to mention reggie's death and the lack of salary cap relief for it too.

True.  But the 1987 thing is pretty tangible.   Celtics lost to the Lakers in 6 games.  Doesn't Bias tip the scale in our favor?

Sillyness...  they should quit their crying.  Injuries happen.

Overrated huh?
Who was favored in the finals despite bynum being injured?
Who allowed the biggest comeback in NBA finals history on there homecourt?
Who Lost by 39, the largest deficit in an NBA finals clinching game?
...whos the defending champs with the best record in the league?

Lakers fans are delusional and  why  they whine about Bynum is beyond me, last I checked a celtic didnt go into his room at night and bash his knees with a baseball bat, the kids injured, thats not our fault or our problem - it actually is their hero Kobe Bryants fault this time around. Boo Hoo

That's why we should never feel sorry for the Fakers and their idiotic fans, who not surprisingly only show up to cheer if the team is good enough. In '85 Bird played one handed, '87 was Parish, McHale, and Walton just about on wheel chairs, '88 Bird was totally gonzo after his best season ever. You want more. '58 Russel injures his ankle, '73 was the Havliceck injury and the Knicks beating us in the East. I mean seventeen flags could have been many more.

Know how the Fakers won any of their championships? By robbing the league. Chamberlain, Alcindor, Shaq. And that is that. So let's never ,ever feel sorry for them.

I had forgotten about that salary relief issue. I can't imagine in today's world anyone would tolerate the NBA not giving cap relief for a deceased player. Darius Miles is one thing, but when a guy dies, you gotta cut the team some slack. I am now mad thinking about how unfairly the Celtics were treated when Reggie died.

Are we even sure that the Lakers pull off the Memphis trade had Bynum not gotten injured?... It certainly put them into a panic.  Do they even make that call if Bynum doesn't go down?

Doesn't Bynum average 7 pts and 7 rebounds against Perk?

Lakers talk (no masked profanity please, even if we all agree), we should know that by now.

The way I see it...it is their own fault for crowning Bynam the next Wilt/Shaw/Russell before he even makes it through a full 82 game season with no injuries.

No sympathy.

Some Lakers also claim Kobe is the greatest ever.

Who cares as long as the Celtics win a title.

Bynum has not done anything yet. Acie Earle had a 40 point game too, doesn't mean a [dang] thing to me. With or without Bynum The C's will own them if they make the finals. I am more worried about Cleveland than LA.
