Today we experience some odd ban behavior where virtually all members were receiving "banned" / "spammer" messages when attempting to login.
I was able to undo the suspect ban, we're not sure atm what the cause was but everyone please rest assured you weren't personally banned. Even my account was experiencing the same issue.
Please if you see this crop up again drop an email to ("admin") ("at") celticsstrong ("dot com") so I can look right away.

Thanks. TP to you because you were the only person I could find to send a PM to to ask about why I was banned.
So glad I wasn't banned. What would I have done all day if I couldn't hit CS? I might have to, you know, work.

That was really weird. It seems like it wasn't just my account, when I tried in incognito mode it said that "guest" was banned too

Along with others, I also had trouble with this today and suffered a mini panic attack wondering what I had done to prompt such a drastic move. I had to start considering how I would even enjoy this season without our legendary game threads.
Now I’m suffering a bit of anxiety knowing how addicted I am to this site and community. :o

Spammers must have found our new site. Hopefully just a little whack-a-mole, although I'm also looking into ways to sure up the registration system w/o also overloading our mods.

I kind of thought the same thing- that I was hacked and some advertisements were sent or posted. I was also going over in my head my recent posts disagreeing with people. I was wondering why I didn’t get an explanation. Well, I’m very relieved now. It really got me wound up a little bit.

I figured it wasn't just me because it was so random and odd. But I also was concerned that my account got hacked and someone had posted a ton of spam posts on it.

Couldn't believe it when I saw I was banned for spamming...I only have a little over 500 posts, all of those on the old blog, and only two or three here so far.
Accusing me of spamming is like believing Spock would do jello shots off an Orion Slave girl! :)

I thought maybe a Yankees fan got in and banned the Sox fans! My last post was in game 2 thread :) At first the devastation of not being allowed in here really shined a light on how much this forum is a part of daily activity-

I was about to call it quits this time, luckily it wasn't just me.
What seems to be the issue? Are the forums being hacked?

I actually recently got my eBay seller account hacked, and someone sold like 34 items of Juul, (Electronic cigarette/smoking device similar to vape that people under 25 use nowadays) and got like 10939759182 fraud messages sent to my email so I WAS SO WORRIED I got hacked!
Glad to still be here guys, I couldn't even read anything.
