House has an Early Bird restriction that allows him to waive any trade this year, so, no.

Wow. Why does he have that? So he'd sign? I thought that was fairly unusual. Also you could play hardball with him and tell him you'd waive him or not play him, but if he can do that then I could see how that could make trading him a lot harder.

Plus Marbury has shown us that he's not totally ready yet

Hmmm... odd bump. First, the trade deadline is gone, you can't trade him anymore even if he agreed. Second, that restriction is not unusual at all. It's mandatory, there's no way you can escape it, as House signed a 1 year extension and if he got traded he'd loose his Bird rights.

Well the thread started before that, but we could trade him after the season and he couldn't stop it then I guess, right?

From what I can see, the restriction is until July 1. But I think that's when Eddie has to make a choice for picking up his player option.
