I'll wait until the end of the summer to do some power rankings.

What is the end of the summer going to do? All the major free agents are signed, and very unlikely danny is going to make a major trade.

pretty similar... i think Detroit will be much better and Cleveland can take a step up in the East...  NYK primed to be much worse... they've done it all wrong and Smith and Chandler would be injury concerns for me... Small step back for Grizz... huge food fight for the 8th seed in the West...

surprised you think detroit is going to be that good. They lack a true pg and sg.

at least we agree lakes are not making the playoffs this upcoming season. Best part to see will be Kobe crying that nobody wants to come play for the team

I agree. It is very unlikely that any of the thirty GMs in the league will be hiring any more free agents or making any more trades, whatsoever. The players on each team are guaranteed to be the only players still on said teams at the end of the summer. The regular season might as well start tomorrow, but the league needs to give players some more time to rest.

8. Milwaukee
9. Detroit
10. Washington
11.  Toronto
12. Boston
13. Orlando
14. Philadelphia
15. Charlotte

1. San Antonio
2. Houston
3. Oklahoma City

In terms of records in the West worse than the C's, I see PHX, NO, Sac.  Gives the C's the 7th best chance in the lottery

Too early for a full prediction, but I have a hunch that the Cavs, T'wolves, Rockets and Pistons will all make the Playoffs in place of the Celtics, Nuggets, Lakers and Bucks.

The Cs finish last and the NBA arbitrarily decides they have to earn the right to keep their league status thru a 7 game playoff series v. the D League champs.  In reality it is way too earlier to makle predictions given the state of the roster.
