Great pass to Nani down the sideline. Excellent run. The shot didn't test the keeper though.

Weak defense again from Bayern. Their backline is there for the taking.

Ohhh, amazing finish on the volley off the corner on the opposite side of the box.

Pure brilliance from Robben! Splendid goal.

Ten men. No Rooney.

Bayern have amazing width and can punish United on the counter attack if they are short handed at the back.

This is going to be a very difficult game for United to get back into.

Ugh.  Beautiful goal, that's probably a killer.

I'd like to see United bring on Macheda and Giggs while leaving on Nani and Valencia.

Ah, they're bringing on Berbatov. I'd have preferred Macheda. I think Berbatov's central play (and all too often lazy running off the ball) can be contained by Van Buyten and Demichelis.

I can`t believe thet MU managed to NOT qualify.....

At least we`ll get to watch a little more of Roben. But other than that Bayern is lucky to be in the semis.

BTW no english team in the last four. Seems strange :D

On the balance of it, Bayern Munich were good value for their win.

I thought United lost the match when Fergie made that negative substitution shortly after halftime. When he took Rooney off and left the side without any strikers. Hard to stop the other dominating possession and creating shot attempts when you can't keep the ball yourself. I thought that substitution created the opportunity for Bayern.

Is it just me or we`ve seen many great games so far ??
Yep, quality season so far.

semifanals:

Bayern - Lyon
Barca - Inter

Any team other than Inter is fine by me.
The Immortals:

Iker Casillas, Giacinto Facchetti, Alessandro Nesta, Matthias Sammer, Javier Zanetti, Lothar Matthäus (c), Xavi, Zico, Maradona, Roberto Baggio, Ferenc Puskas, Karl Heinz Rummenigge

Coach:Rinus Michels

No great English teams this season. They are all second rate sides and I say that as Chelsea fan, who are currently top of the league.

The CL trophy is now Barca's to lose. Nothing more, nothing less.
