Point for finding the typo.

I'd add one more.

Good discussion

Say 4-5 good posts on the same thread talking about the way they see the situation leading to a good discussion be it agreement or disagreement.

Post helps provide "balance" to the thread (by supplying important new or especially relevant information).

I enjoy someone with a quick wit. I also like when someone uses statistics to backup their arguments.

Yes, that particular option didn't last long, did it?

I'll say all of the above.  I try to give TPs for good, thoughtful posts, but I also give them for quick wit.  I tend to give reciprocal TPs as well, though, and I'm more likely to just randomly give a poster I feel is under-appreciated a TP "just because".

The only people I won't give TPs to are those I see attacking others.  Once you do that, you pretty much go onto the TP black list.

I like to give TP's when the words jump off the page and into my heart, soul and mind.

Also, if you can be positive in the face of complete negativity, that is surely worth one as well.

Statistics in a good argument can be good as well.

When the Celtics win a championship, that is always a good time to let them fly as well.

If someone is positive to me, that never hurts and I will usually send one back there way as a sign of appreciation.

But coffee was a sure path to many TPs.

Certainly kept me up longer to give TPs.

Because you like to see numbers ending in 5 or 0.

Haha.  I think this one affects mostly just us staff members.  It's always nice topping somebody off when they're within 2 or 3 of a milestone, as well.
