Might be language barriers.

Saw him not knowing where to go on both ends of the floor.

Give it a couple years. Not a bust...yet.

Is Faverani's contract guaranteed for next year?

If not unless Hump and Bass are traded, with Anthony in the picture now, i don't think he will play much for the rest of the year.

Danny could also trade him at the deadline

it is guaranteed next year. i think i remember it not originally being so, perhaps it became so when he was still on the roster at a certain date.

Faverani's upside? I'd say somewhere between Antoine Walker and Semih Erden.

He looks like he just woke up out of bed every time he checks into a game. He then nonchalantly tosses up a few threes, whacks a few guys down low, and goes back to the bench. You gotta love Vitor!

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
NBA player if he stops taking threes and gets in the paint.

Otherwise he's headed back to Brazil.

lol
"Because there are no fours." -- Antoine Walker when asked why he shoots so many threes.

"Stars. The Eskimos use them to find their way home. I use them to wish for a girlfriend."

What happened to Faverani?

We traded the logjam at the 2 for one at the 5?
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

At least he hits them at a much higher rate than Sullinger.

Sources: Sullinger might be headed to Brazil.

Haha, I was gonna say he's heading back to his college team.  Brazil is better :)

What kind of upside do you see in Faverani ?

Starter?Back-Up?

I honestly see a very good starter in Fav and possibly in a contending team.

LOL.  No.  Not a starter.  His upside would be a rich man's Greg Stiemsma.  Which isn't bad actually.  That would be in a solid backup realm.  But by no means do I picture him as a starter on a winning NBA team.

Angry Faverani isn't playing more. Useful player and the only big man with real size on the team.

Same.

I really liked what I saw from Vitor early on and thought he could become a very useful (and cheap) player for some time.

I imagine Danny is trading at least one of Bass and Hump, which should open up more minutes for him after the deadline. Guy needs to play and right now he's stuck behind Jared Sullinger, Kelly Olynyk, Brandon Bass, Kris Humphries, and Joel Anthony (no reason he should be playing over Vitor).
