I know the first series still isnt over, but I think this is worth having a topic over. I say sixers but its a close one.

It's very close.  I think the Sixers and the Bulls without Rose are very close.

I guess I'd say the Sixers, because they don't have the Thibodeau defense.

I just want to make round 2 ourselves.

But if I had to choose, give me the Sixers all day. The Bulls seemed to have our number all year no matter who was playing for them.

Sixers easily.

Chicago still wouldnt beat us in a series, but they are very good at what we are very bad at.

Rebounding.

They would abosolutely destroy us on the boards each and every game, not to mention their defense is legit. I'd rather face the Sixers, they are the youngest team in the league and the Celtics would fare well against them.

we're a bad match up against the bulls. their defense is solid and their role players seem to play crazy good against us... not to mention their rebounding kills us. their strengths are at all our weaknesses which mangifies our weaknesses.

the sixers are fast, and play small ball kind of... but i think its do-able for us and much better match up

Sixers would be an easier matchup due to Chicago's rebounding prowess.

I don't think the problem with Chicago is rebounding so much as it is big man depth, which usually prevents Thibs from making huge mistakes with allocation of minutes at those positions.

Having home-court advantage against the 76ers makes this a pretty easy choice, though.

What is the story with Joakim Noah? How bad is his injury?

It matters not ... if we play our best ball, we can beat anyone, if not, anyone can beat us. Philly and Chicago-sans-Rose are about the same as opponents, in my opinion, and one is not preferable over the other. As I said, just play at our best and we'll get to the next round, if we do the same in this one, (and cross that bridge when we get to it).
