Orlando is going to want an all star, promising young players, picks, and cap relief for D Ho.  Miami can easily offer this to them.  Miami gets Howard and is stuck with Turkoglu for the next two years.  They give up Bosh, Joel Anthony, Norris Cole, Mike Miller, who would probably retire, and two #1 picks.

Miami would basically ensure them the Finals for the next half decade, at a minimum.  Orlando would get an all star in Bosh, who they could use or move for more assets and cap relief, two solid players, and picks.  It would be a better package than Houston's offer.  Bynum won't sign an extension there, apparently, so LA isn't an option unless Houston facilitates the deal and Bynum agrees to play there.

This would be a total gangster move by Pat Riley.  Dwight Howard patrolling the paint at both ends, surrounded by LeBron, Wade, Battier and Ray Allen, would be a ridiculous team to defeat.

Miami should do that, even after the title. But no gm has the coconuts to pull that off.

What picks is Miami sending? 2013 and 2015 1sts are owed to Cleveland. Can't trade 2014 or 2016 picks either due to the Stepien Rule.

Miami does own Philly's 2013 pick.

2013 and 17.  Or '13, '17 and '19 if need be to make it work.

I'd take a leave of absence from NBA basketball for a while if Miami got Howard.

IMO, then it would be a real big 3... and terrifying.
Its safe to assume it wont happen because the magic dont want miami to get that much better.

SMh.what's up with this threads.as if Miami weren't already a great team now we want them to be better by getting Howard. While we at it,why don't we find a way for them to get Durant or chris paul too.

I don't think making this thread and wishing Miami was better is the same thing. It appears to be more of a what if? Or why not?

Same state? Never gonna happen unless Orlando is getting Wade & Bosh for Howard & 2 1st! Example the Knicks will never make a trade that allows the Brooklyn Nets to possibly win 4-5 titles & have to read or hear about it everyday in the paper or their local programming.

Bosh? No, you trade Wade, and keep Bosh. Ray Allen is now starting for the Heat, and Riley's true evil plan comes to fruition.

I don't think Orlando gives up Dwight Howard for Chris Bosh.

I believe Bosh is considered fairly poorly as a franchise player after the Raptors inability to make it out of the first round + missing the playoffs entirely his final two years there.

I believe most consider him a failure as a franchise player and they do not want to rebuild their team around him in the future. Love him as a second or third option but not as a first option.

I think that Dwight is open to anyone who can convience him to sign an extension now that the Nets are out of the equation.

A nice sit down dinner with Danny, Doc, KG, and Bill Russell should put things into perspective.  ;)
