Missed the season opener  :( Sounds like it was an epic win  I'm going to watch it on DVR later today, but can anyone tell me why Nesmith didn't play? Is he injured?

I'm seeing a pattern, he doesn't start either of the preseason games and plays less than Pritchard overall, and then doesn't play at all in this game. I wonder if they are seeing something in him that suggests he's not ready, either defensively or maybe he's not quite picking up the Celtics sets yet?

Pritchard seems more composed and ready to contribute right away. That said, if Kemba was fit I wonder how many minutes Pritchard gets.
I feel like it was a fit thing. Ojeleye always gets minutes against the Bucks due to defensive concerns. Nesmith is still getting his feet under him

As a lottery pick, it would be nice to see him get a few minutes. From what we saw of him in pre-season, he is not a total dud. Other picks are already starting or seeing regular rotation minutes. I understand that he may not be as seasoned as Pritchard, but he is not straight out of high school either. Seems to me the Cs are a lot lower on him than we fans had hoped. And I don't think it gets better for him when Langford returns and we [possibly] use our TPE on a wing. Will he be the one who goes out in such a trade?
I think he's just having his version of an offseason right now - he's not super raw, but he's not polished to the point where he's forcing himself into the rotation like FastPP.

Highlight vs Magic. Some nice plays.... 3s not dropping.  One nice 3 late in the game.

Last night was the most comfortable Nesmith looked.  More fluid.  In better position.  When his shot starts falling his confidence will rise.  Just needs more practice.  Hes thinking so much he can't just play.  His shot is a thing of beauty and will start falling.

He flashed ability to drive.  I wish he would keep doing that, it will get him to relax more from 3.

Love his footwork setting up for 3.  Once he starts knocking down a few, confidence will go up. Still have strong belief he can contribute to this team in meaningful way come playoff time.

He has a lot to learn on defensive positioning, but it is not a lack of athleticism or length, just needs to learn positioning better, especially on transition D.

He just needs playing time. Stinks that G League isn’t an option this year.

What is it with some Cfans and G league. He is a #14 pick...just play him and fix his shooting form it just looks weird.

Fix shot of best 3 point shooter in college basketball last season?

Brilliant.

So true for Nesmith.  But I like Tacko here this and think maybe it's helping him. And really glad PP is with the team -- but they would have figured that out.
Re: Nesmith -- great stretch upcoming to get him some minutes!

At least its not Grant Williams bad when he was a rookie...missed something like 28 straight threes before making one.

Nesmith has been missing open threes which i really cannot make anything off right now..hopefully he turns the corner as he builds confidence but man it would really be nice if he can start making them.

The stroke looks beautiful. The shots will drop.

Yeah there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that stroke or his footwork setting up his shot. It’s just a combination of small sample size and getting up to speed and in rhythm.

It looks fine but a little line drive like...

Less margin or error/lower lucky bounce chances

I’m not seeing a flat line drive shot...  maybe a little less arc on the shot but it still looks good.

Reggie Miller was the all time leading three-point shooter of his generation with strange shooting form.

Khris Middleton has a different looking jumpshot form.

I think Nesmith has the type of form that we difficult to defend. Some people just have the knack.
