Wow, did Doc just take HIS team ONE whole round further than Vinny Del Negro did last year and to the SAME point that Vinny took them two years ago??

Despite ADDING JJ Redick, Darren Collison, Turkoglu, Big Baby, and Reggie Bullock???

I am so tired of the excuses from Doc!!!  It was Sterling's fault.  It was the refs' fault.

At what point is it YOUR fault Doc??????

Miss ya SOOOOOOOOO much!!!  NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since when is getting beat by the OKC Thunder with the MVP of the league in a playoff series a mark of shame? In a tough close 6 game series, not a blow out or a short one.

I guess its Doc's fault that CP3 had the worst minute of his basketball career in game 5?

Let's just keep an idea on HOW far these Doc Clipper teams go in the playoffs in the coming years, shall we??

I am a HUGE believer in personal accountability!!!!  Doc evidently is NOT.

P.S. I always believed that Doc was and IS and average (at best) X's and O's coach.

I don't get the Doc hate here.

The Clippers got beat by a better team. End-o-story.

Yeah OKC is a tough matchup for LAC and also a slightly better team.

I mean Clippers were probably underdogs along the lines of 5:2? (ie 40-45% chance to upset the Thunder)

Players contribute so much more to winning championships than coaches do. CP3 should have been the one to take his team there, not Doc.

Clippers need a better sf than barnes. Who knows maybe they will bother  danny about JG. Also they might like bass to come off the bench. Not much they can offer back though

To be fair, the Clippers could be in the ECF right now had Chris Paul not choked Game 5 away.

This.

It's pretty apparent this thread is a thinly veiled attempt to continue grinding the ax on Rivers due to some strife going back to his Boston tenure.

The higher seed & better team actually won this series.  That was OKC.

If Doc is average, what does that make 26 other active coaches? Doc, Pop, Carlisle and Spoelstra are the only active coaches who have rings (as coaches). Players win championships; coaches can only do so much.

I'm starting to think Doc Rivers spit in some of you guy's oatmeal when you were a kid or something. These Doc hate threads are completely unnecessary.
