Ray Allen hit the biggest shot of his career tonight, in a Heat uniform.

Hard to say exactly how that makes me feel, as a Celtics fan.  But it's not good.
That was incredible.  Ray hit shots like that hundreds of times for the Celtics.  He wanted to keep doing it for a contender.  I'm lucky in that I have no hate for the Heat.  Massive props to LeBron as well for hitting the 3 pointer before that.  Hard to criticize that guy ... he's a phenom.   But that shot by Ray was absolutely sick.

IS there anyone in the history of the game more "clutch" than Ray Allen?  Perhaps Jordan?

Is your heat face paint staining your #34 Allen jersey as you cry tears of joy?

haha ok at least that come back was funny!

If the end of the world comes down to one buzzer beating shot... and I can choose anyone in the history of the game to take that shot... the choice is coming down to Jordan and Ray...  really tough choice.

If it's a three you go with Ray every single time.

Any other shot I go with MJ.

Reggie Miller and Danny Green!

Again, I don't hate Ray any more than I hate Robert Parish for playing his final season (and winning a title) with the hated Michael jordan and the "rival" Chicago Bulls.  I mean we played the Bulls twice in the playoffs and everything.  How dare he.

How can you hate on Mike?
At one time, we all hated mike.  It wasn't until he retired and came back that everyone embraced him on that level.  He was our "rival" for years.  Maybe if LeBron retires and comes back, you'll finally wanna be wanna be wanna be like Bron.

I was a big bron fan until he took the easy way out to join with wade bc he needed rings to grow his brand.

Until he gets to six Nike will always be jordans and he can never supplant him. Thought it really showed his character when he went to Miami.

Not saying he's a bad guy. Second best player I've ever watched, but I held him at a high standard and his lack of mental toughness and competitive fire disappointed me.

Ray Allen saved him. James has a shot at redemption in game 7 bc he came up short with the game on the line in the final 90 seconds.

Not a great night to reference Danny Green in that company . . .

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
One of the clutchest I've ever seen, no doubt.

While his clutch shooting pretty much won the game for the Heat, I thought that he actually played kind of dirty all game.

I would like to tell you guys that cheaters, liars, and backstabbers don't win or succeed.  But they do.  The world is full of them.

Ray made a great shot (probably the biggest of his career) but at the end of the day, another championship or not, somewhere deep in the corner  of his conscience and soul, he knows he stabbed us in the back to go win another championship.

In Van Morrison's words..."when you don't get betrayed by that old Judas kiss"

Judas' kiss is what I remember everytime I look at Ray.  A big stain on his legacy

He looks surly most of the time. I think he has regrets as to why he did his traitorous act to the Celtics. Compare his demeanor while he was with the Celtics vs with the Heat. A lot has changed.

I can't even be mad at him.  Hat tip to you Ray.  Un-freaking-believable.  He had every right to leave Boston.  He absolutely proved his worth.  The man is an absolute legend.  INcredible.  Just incredible.

Arguably the most clutch player to ever play the game.  Hands down.

He hit a big shot but don't get carried away. 9 points in 41 minutes in a must-win game isn't my idea of "historically clutch".

Ray Allen was fantastic late in that game. He saved Miami.

San Antonio would be celebrating their Championship right now if not for him.

Multiple plays. Including quick and smart fouls

Good for Ray if he enjoys being a role player on a title team more than being a star on one.

Yeah I'd highly doubt a second championship-in Miami- while being a role player means as much as the first one.

Also very confused by the bank and medal comment haha
