So yeah it sounds like Dwight can either sign the ETO waiver or get traded it seems based on the Magic's current public stance.

Sounds like there isn't a lot of trust there.
Reports are now that Dwight hasn't made up his mind fully still...

He's going to get shipped somewhere he won't like if he doesn't sign it, weighing on him.

You should read the latest posts to this thread.

Also I don't really think there is a "right/wrong" in this situation.

We must close the Okafor + Hornets pick (the Wolves one) for expiring contracts!

c'mon! A real center, overpaid sure...but not that much. AND a high pick?!? it's a no brainer!

Assuming this pick is from 10-14 range...ours is from 15-20 range..and the Clippers pick is around 22-25 range...it means we can reload at the draft with players like:

Minn pick: Terrence Jones, Jeremy Lamb or Bradley Beal
Celts pick: Austin Rivers, Terrence Ross or Kendall Marshall
Clips pick: Mason Plumlee, Arnett Moultrie or Fab Melo

We must do it. Now. ASAP.

I didn't get to have my say before Woj's latest report, but all the same, I didn't believe Dwight wanted to opt in based off the initial report for a second.

Dwight's agent probably told him to do that so if he's traded today or tomorrow, people won't talk about how Dwight bulled his way outta Orlando. To be fair, Dwight didn't necessarily for all this, but this won't be over for a while, or again, unless he's traded in the IMMEDIATE future...like today or tomorrow.

He's better off staying or get shipped to somewhere they have to gut their team for him, the other side isnt always greener. See Carmelo and the NYK.

Hell the Magic have been killing Chicago and the Heat in recent games.

Its Bleacher Report, about a deal the Hornets shot down. Don't buy it.

Marc Stein reporting that Dwight Howard has changed his mind and will not waive his ETO. Plans to enter Free Agency this summer.

Changed his mind after talking with agent. Claims he didn't fully understand consequences of his actions and choose to waive ETO after Magic officials warned him they would trade him without a commitment.

Wow.

I thought Woj was an unimpeachable source.

Guess not, huh?

What does Elrod Tostada say about all this?
