This thread is honestly hilarious right now

Don't you just love p---ing contests?

It seems like a lot of threads these days just go off the rails.
what does any of this have to do with Monroe?  dear lord.

Lol, I do apologize as I was apart of that.

Anyways, that being said, from my understanding, unless Monroe's contract is fully guaranteed before August, we cannot use him in a trade filler.

So we would need to sign him on back to back 10 day contracts, then sign him to a fully guaranteed contract before August.

Either way, we need all the healthy bodies we can get.

I just don't know how any of us can expect Monroe to help us much at all.  Maybe for this 10 day contract he is someone who can score a bit.

I mean we all saw what he did the last time he was here.  He was at the very bottom of the 'ok' category in the regular season, but then once the playoffs hit he was terrible.  I mean really bad.  I hope there was some other reason he played so poorly for us in the playoffs, otherwise why do we even sign him to the 10 day?  Other than we are desperate?  Maybe I am missing something.

Moose is going to get some minutes with Baynes down and Horford resting half of the final games.

But is that a good thing?  I guess the options were just so limited that we had to go back to our own discard pile.

I'd like to see TIMELORD get some play but Moose is a legit NBA big. He can rebound and score. Not much of a defender but he is huge. He's like the total opposite of Baynes. Bizzarro Baynes if you will.... ;D

The Spurs are picking up Donatas Motiejunas. I didn't even know he was out there. Would he have been a better choice in Brad's system?

I am with you on the timelord.  I just can't get over those last games that Monroe played for us.  He was absolutely terrible in the playoffs.  Hopefully we get the better regular season Moose.

Monroe is only useable in certain matchups. He would be good against The Pistons but I doubt we'll face them

How so? He legit had one good 3pt shooting season 4 years ago.

The Spurs somehow manage to turn these type of guys into highly effective rotation players though.

I thought he was a much better outside shooter but maybe not?
