we are lucky to have drafted him, other teams are fortunate this kid didn't get on the same team with Doncic or Giannis .

Since the draft is always a crap shoot, this pick shows you why it’s good to have as much ammo as possible in the draft.

full highlights from last night game

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFzgJjZ6t5E

So far when he is on the floor deficits decrease/leads increase.  He has finished 3 out of the last 4 games

Not his best game.  But at least made all of his 3 pt chances.  Nice play rushing up the court with 3 sec left in the half

Also looks like is an underrated O board rebounder for a small guy.  Follows the ball really well off the rim.

It is strange to say, but he reminds me a little of Rondo.   There are unorthodox elements

He’s very crafty like Rondo. He will get better still very young at 22. That’s the age that all NBA players used to come into the league. He doesn’t try and do too much and knows when to pull the ball back out. His handle is amazing. It’s mostly forced passes we’re he turns the ball over now that his feet are staying inbounds.

Some of his offensive rebounds are almost shocking.  His court vision and feel for the game is outstanding especially for a rookie.

He makes some mistakes in running the offense, but those are correctable. I like the fact he doesn’t stand in one spot pounding the ball.  He’s always moving with the ball which allows other player movement creating open shot opportunities.  He’s going to be a key part of this team for a long time to come.

i ve thought of Rondo too when i see his passes.   He stay moving with the ball way bettervthan Rondo ....who pounded the ball ....Payton makes stuff happen really fast

I think his play would be even better if Smart or Teague would stop insisting on taking the ball out of his hands. He should be allowed to handle running the plays, as I think he has true point guard skills.

This kid is just fun to watch.  As much as I'm excited for Kemba to return I just pray Teague is dropped from the rotation vs PP.

Pritchard
That left hand whip pass to Theis and no look pass to Semi (after drawing defenders) .... holly molly!

Fun to see Tacko hit that long 2 and drive in for the dunk.  Defense looks good like the last game. Smaller players hesitant to shoot due to a building over them. And when they try to drive, Tacko is ready to shut them out/make it difficult

If he can reach another ceiling....who knows
