Yeah, seems like agents, especially those affiliated with stars (e.g., Klutch/Lebron) will have an increasing influence on where other stars get traded.  Bears watching.

Simmons just tweeted it.  If he goes with Klutch it likely means he's joining LeBron in LA.

Seriously, though - the most plausible thing I've read is that he was persuaded Klutch could get him more endorsements and earning opportunities off the court.

How much is enough money for these people. The disparity in income is getting ridiculous and these large endorsement contracts are being passed on to consumers. The wide disparity in income across the board cannot be sustained to keep a healthy polity. Bad thing is the mega wealthy make all this money and they really do not have much to do with it. When you start buying four cars, ten houses, exotic animals, leaving millions of dollars to pets in your will, bathing in champagne, it is obscene wealth. End of rant...

Either they are truly just an agency, and this means nothing, or they push him towards the Lakers and we dont have to worry about it for 3 years. If the Pelicans move him before he is a FA, the Lakers are nowhere near the best offer. Or he teams up with a 37/38 year old Lebron. We cross that bridge when it comes.
