Can someone explain the difference between Anthony Johnson getting the call to end the first half which was identical to how Pierce got hit by Howard on that last drive?

Nevertheless I'm still confident about this series.

I am too.  This Magic team does not worry me nearly as much as the Bulls.

I kind of feel the same way now that I felt about facing the Pistons after we faced the Cavs in last year's playoffs.

The Magic don't seem as tough and never seemed "tough" at any point, even when they were up by nearly 30pts.  We just played a terrible game for the first 2.5 quarters.

Rondo with a double double (points & rebounds).

... and 7 turnovers, with 2-for-12 shooting.  Rondo played a pretty poor mental game today.

Yeah, but his second half was much better than the first.

You canīt read that in the boxscore if you watch 24.  ;) ;D

My feeling for game 2 is still good.

I caught most of the fourth, too, and he was making stupid, stupid plays right up until the end of the game.  If not for his bad pass to Ray, there's a chance we win that game.

Ray will bounce back in Game 2.  I'm not as sure about Rondo.  There's something wrong with his head right now.

Letting a guy steal the ball while you're rolling it in.

Man.

I'd fine him $10K for that alone.

Stars do not play with the lack of intelligence and effort he displayed tonight. Period. Inexcusably bad performance.

Hopefully Doc makes the proper adjustment before Game 2, and starts Scal to D up Lewis and Hedu.

also when was the last time you saw an 8 second violation?  The Magic already had the spread covered, so that couldn't have been it...

Big deal.

He needs to get his butt to the arena like the rest of the pros, prepare like a pro and play like a pro in the first half.

No excuses. Rondo was bad, and he played stupid basketball tonight. Hopefully, he will be put on notice by the staff.

I agree, except Ray ain't bouncing back if Rondo keeps passing the ball to his foot

Exactly- Games 2 and 3 I think Celts win- this'll be tied for Game 5...

What did we learn tonight?  Not much unfortunately.  The C's didn't show up till midway through the 3Q.  Orlando totally lost focus and was lucky...very lucky actually...to survive.

Howard is going to be a serious problem, but we knew that.  Scal looks like he's going to be a key factor.

Other than that, inconclusive....except they've dug themselves a hole and now absolutely have to win Game 2.

This Rondo showing up late for the game thing bothers me though....because he wasn't ready to play...though he wasn't the only one.  I expected the C's to come out flat...but tonight was a terrific opportunity to steal a game and they couldn't take advantage.

I hope you're right...everyone knows that Game 2 is a must win now.  We lose game 2 and we're done.

we learned if we play like we did in the second half, we'll be able to handle this team

Can somebody please fix his head??? What happened to it? He goes from superstar-in-the-making to liability :(
