Just when Evan was heating up. Oh well, this is gonna be a big opportunity for Romeo. Hoping he gets extended minutes this time around.

Wasn't his previous case deemed a false positive.  Was the follow up test a false negative?

Wow, so no Thompson and no Fournier.  That would seem to mean that Kornet, Langford and maybe Nesmith get a lot of time.  It is that kind of year for the Celtics.

Let's hope it was another false positive test. Wouldn't wish Covid on anyone. Here's Romeo on his experience:

Quote
"It was pretty bad for when I had the symptoms. I had the symptoms for about like four or five days and it hit me pretty hard," Langford said. "It felt like I had a really bad flu and then I ended up losing my taste and smell. I really still can't smell that much. I really wasn't allowed to do anything for two, two-and-a-half weeks. So that was my main thing coming back was just getting my wind and getting my feel for the game and feeling the ball and stuff like that. ...

"I'm still feeling those things. It hits me every once and a while with my breathing," he added. "It's not too bad anymore since my first couple workouts, though."

It's just so hard with guys just yanked in and out of the line up nearly every game. If we can somehow get healthy, I like our chances in the playoffs!

Hopefully Smart plays like a PG tonight and gets his teammates involved. Need Kemba to do better than 2-9 from 3pt as well.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Of course Fournier is out. Why shouldn't he be? Why should he be any less snakebitten than every other member of this team?

Big L incoming tonight.

This is THE big "if" of Celtics basketball for the last decade. I really don't expect them to reach and maintain full health anymore. Ever.

Got to wonder if the '19 team would flourish (or at least do better) in this type of pandemic environment with more minutes/shots available for the players that can suit up.  A little more opportunity might have made everyone a lot happier.

Or the constant lineup yoyoing could have made everything even worse.

Yes Smart too.. so that is half the team...

From what I ve seen when I’m out ,  most likely they are normal for their age group.    I think I read that a study in India in a large city showed over half the group in the 18-30 years had been exposed to COVID and that was many months ago maybe early 2020 fall.  Honestly don’t think it’s different over here,  maybe worse I suspect .

until .....we get all out players healthy,  I don’t see us beating top 5-10 much.

See this year's Brooklyn Nets team for reference.  That team would have loved this environment, with the caveat that Hayward was not healthy yet.
