Simply deploy Tacko and Kornet at the two blocks and have TimeLord floating around the key, forming a huge athletic wall at the rim! Zion is stopped :)

The other 4, however...

Zion is like nothing I've ever seen. He looks like a big slow short center, kind of like Big Baby but then he just pops up and also has the fastest second jump I've ever seen. LeBron looks like he's just super athletic but Zion is just so surprising the way he can move after he looks like he's waddling down the court with his strange gait. Totally unique player.

Well, Big Baby was pretty agile and slick, too, despite his size. And he also made a big impact in our championship season. I liked Baby's skillset more than Zion's. I mean, Zion surely is unique, but Big Baby had it coming when he signed with Orlando and was destined to be a borderline All-Star. It's a pity that the serious weight issues caught up with him so fast from that point onwards. Zion really has to monitor that issue. From what I can tell, he can't shoot, which Baby could, and once his youthful energy and athleticism wear off, he really has to have his weight in check and also expand his skillset, because otherwise he will be out of the league faster than Big Baby.
Erm, what?

Is Grant Williams starting tonight? I expect Zion to posterize him to oblivion at least 4 times tonight if he is.

Would love to see Tacko guard Zion like he did in NCAA tournament.

Fournier is what Nesmith should aspire to become.  His game in college was quite similar.

He was also pretty much a non-factor on the '07-08 team.  It wasn't until the following season when he started becoming a factor and the Shrek/Donkey game was in '10 Finals.

Does anyone else see a Larry Johnson type career for Zion if he doesn't shed some weight?

Grandmama shown bright early, but eventually that size caught up to him and he fizzled quickly. Could Zion be the same thing?

Zion lost weight between his rookie season and now. Not sure how much more he can lose without it hurting his game.

It's hard to say with Zion because he's such a physical freak. Even more so than Johnson was but it's quite possible he'll have a shortened career due to his jumping at that weight. Blake Griffen is just a shell now and he was not near the size Zion is.

Jaylen out but Fournier in. It will be good for Jaylan to get rest and nice to see Fournier.

Yeah that's an interesting take.    Zion is a specimen at 20 years old.  Pretty amazing that he is playing at an all-star level out of the gate and is able to use his physicality and body control to dominate huge, fully matured men at age 20.  He is unique and I don't think there is any viable guess as to where his body goes from here.

I would very much like to see him playing tight end for the Patriots.

That's just the reporting I heard, but he's supposedly down to around 260lbs. Still a huge weight for a 6'6" guy, but it's a far sight better than 285.

The long term stress on his ligaments is what worries me. It's not his muscle that will give out it's those darn ligaments and the meniscus in the knee that might doom his career from being a long one.

Hope not. The guy is a joy to watch. He's everything you want in an old school PF.
