Celtics (21-21) at Grizzlies (19-20) Game #43 3/22/21

Good little burst to end the half. They've played a solid first half offensively, they just need to stop the Griz from feasting inside in the 2nd half and we should win this.

Aaaand it looks like they decided to keep letting the Grizz shot 50% from the floor. Bummer.

Well, Smart helped the C’s make it to OT, but then costs them the game in OT. Brad, it’s very simple... Just tell Marcus that he isn’t allowed to shoot in the 4th. He’s a good passer, just needs to stop shooting. Cap him at 6-8 FG attempt a game and you're good.

I actually thought Smart played a good game overall, but he’s clearly still working himself back into shape after that long layoff. Looks slightly heavy.

Overall he had an OK game. Highest +/- on the team. Made some really bad decisions in OT, though.

I'm so tired of his bad decisions.

It's because he tries to make a lot of grandstand plays. They look awesome when they come off and they make him look like a dunce when they don't.

With Smart he's always making high risk plays, he's a gambler. Hi risk passes and shots that make Sportscenter if they come off but earn the fans' vitriol when they don't, because they're not the high percentage lower return plays. In his case you just hope the good outweighs the bad over the course of the season. He will win you games but also lose you games, he's just that type of player.

It is to be expected with all the guys out.   We are a mediocre team this year even with our guys.   Not having Tatum really hurts.

Thank you to the Toronto Raptors losing to Houston so we wouldn't be the team that breaks the streak.
