That free throw shooting must be driving McHale insane.

Does this Nets series make it more likely that Brook Lopez opts in for next year ??, you would think that Young would ..Hopefully they do bring back The Gang for unfinished business and the bottom really falls out next year ;D
If Brook and Thad stick around and Brooklyn has some luck with health next season, they might be 2nd best team in the East.
Except for the Teletovic clot problem you could argue that they had pretty good health this season apart from the odd ankle sprain.
Unless you think Thaddeus Young is that big of a difference maker that is a huge jump for that roster to be making.

I dont think he is serious (I hope not). How that team leaps the Bulls, Wizards, and Hawks (And Bucks) while holding off every other young team below them would happen with 79 million tied up in Williams, Johnson, Lopez, Jack and Young. That's right 79 million on that 5.
They were significantly better after Lopez got healthy and they added Thad.   That team can fully healthy can be the 2nd best team in the East.
If you really believe this you should take any money you own and fly out to Vegas or Reno before the season begins and bet on the nets over. The smartest people in the world are going to project them for about 43 wins next year max (under the conditions you set forth). If they could be second best team in the league that is absolutely free money for you. You should be rewarded massively if you are the only person this smart in your observations.

Great play by Harden there.  Nice effort by Dallas, but they're simply not as good as Houston, especially when short-handed.

Clippers off to a much better start. Look the fresher team. More energy in their legs.

Tony Parker has been really disappointing in this series. He has got to step up or San Antonio is going to get knocked out.

Blake Griffin's ball-handling and passing is tremendous. I love how he attacks a rotating defense from that FT area. Does a great job of getting DeAndre Jordan the ball when he hanging around baseline. Finds shooters out on the wing. Or can drive himself and finish above the rim. Scares the crap out of defenders.

Clippers killing San Antonio in transition. Making San Antonio look very very old.

Well that didnt last long.

Despite being an absolute beast for the most part, Blake's ball handling is why this series is 2-2 instead of 3-1 clippers aswell. The most epic of bonehead plays.

Clippers bench is embarrassing. Not that bad defensively, but neither Rivers nor Crawford are a point guard.

What's amazing is that it's gotten better. When they still had Farmar, things were even worse.

the Nets are not some roadkill bottom seed (like the Celtics were this year, God bless 'em).

I really don't understand the need of some "fans" to poop on this Celtics team after they just finished a season where they wildly exceeded the expectations of all but the most insanely optimistic.

And beating this Hawks team twice proves the Nets don't suck?

Rivers' last attempt at a floater was cringe-worthy.

If Rivers does anything successful on offense, it's probably an accident.

Chris Paul is such a baby. Between the flopping and his childish antics with throwing temper tantrums out on the floor, I simply cannot believe he is one of the faces of the league.

Rivers makes Marcus look like a 10 year vet on both ends of the floor.

DeAndre Jordan makes some incredible defensive plays. Those switches onto Tony Parker were perfection. Brilliant block on Kawhi's pull up foul line jump shot. Such a tough play. D.Jordan has intimidated Spurs ball-handlers going to the basket off the PnR so many times tonight.

He is playing great defense.
