Too bad for that awful first-quarter, we're in the game now but too late

Celticsblog. Where hypocrisy lives. Rondo haters killing him for what they praise other players for (*cough Bird *cough). People love KG's intensity but hate Rondo's? Shocking to see who comes down on Rondo for that. The kind of thing people love in most players gets criticized in Rondo. Cheers to Rondo. Cause standing up for your teammates is just the worst!

And 0 games. For a shove? He got ejected. He isn't being suspended.

I don't understand all the people saying 'this is a man's game' and applauding rondo for getting tossed.  I mean do we not agree that we are a better team with Rondo in the lineup? We need every win we can get with this poor start, and getting ejected and potentially suspended for a couple games just will make it worse.

Rondo has the skill and ability to just take it out on the nets and Humphries and just embarrass them on the court.  I would much rather he do that and help us win.

I'd cut people a little slack.  Much like the 'fight,' it was heat of the moment, and people were reacting to the situation immediately.

That said, I still cannot understand what Gerald Wallace had in his mind while running to the "battlefield".
He basically outran everybody.

Wallace was ticked because he'd just been popped in the face.  Looked like it was just the ball that hit him, but it's hard to tell, and even he might not've known for sure.  But nobody's happy when they've just been hit in the face.

Looking at it again, Rondo got clocked the possession before the fight too.  Can't tell if he got hit in the head, but there was no whistle then either.

I'm not a Rondo hater. I don't praise any other player for intense on-court activity. And I still find his reaction meaningless.

The way the 2nd half has felt, the lead should be single digits.  Yet, can't cut into it.  Need a run.

That may explain his sudden rage, then.
If he got hit, he could well have lost his cool for a moment.
