  • Yup
5 in the top 50 is a solid core, even if you don't agree with the exact order.
Yup

Smart got robbed. He should definitely have made the top 100 if Rozier and Olynyk made it

Smart is so bad shooting the ball I really don't have an issue with it.

Top 100 Players = 10 players chosen for every 3 teams.  With this criteria, I can live with Smart's omission.
2023 Non-Active / Non-NBA75 Fantasy Draft, ChiBulls:

PG: Deron Williams 07-08 / M.R. Richardson 80-81 / J. Wall 16-17
SG: David Thompson 77-78 / Hersey Hawkins 96-97
SF: Tracy McGrady 02-03 / Tayshaun Prince 06-07
PF: Larry Nance Sr 91-92 / Blake Griffin 13-14
C: Bob Lanier 76-77 / Brad Daugherty 92-93 / M. Camby 06-07

This is top 100 players, not top 100 shooters though. If I’m going out there on the floor for a high stakes game there are very few current players I would want out there with me instead of Smart. What he does out there to contribute to win games is not measurable by most standards, but it’s huge

I disagree that Jae Crowder is a snub. Otherwise thanks for the post.

I wouldn't have had a problem with smart making the top 100, and I don't have a problem with him missing it. His best role is as a energy bringing sixth man/defenisve specialist which almost by defnition means he's not quite a top-100 player.

He would've been 2 years ago, but even then not much of one. Nowadays nope.

Smart's a tough one, he's a fringe top-100 even if you put a lot of stock in his intangibles. Plus he missed a third of the season. Perhaps a top-100 most valuable player is a better way to think of him. It'd be nice to see him on the list but it's not some huge omission.

If anything I have a problem with Lonzo Ball being #100, thats clearly a fan service pick. And Covington being #48? Maybe its his playoff performance that has clouded my logical reasoning but no thank you.

Smart not making the list but Dejounte Murry at 89. Doesn't make much sense to me.

People upset about Smart,  Avery Bradley seemingly not in the top 100 or the snubs (101-125).  A year ago, I would have assumed most of the blog here would have preferred to keep Bradley over Smart if money/cap/tax was of no consideration.

On this, I didn't watch a lot of the lakers last year but the consensus seems to be that Kuzma was their best rookie.  I don't see him on this list yet.  Is he going to be top 30 in this ranking?  Is that deserved?
