Wild that Milwaukee might be the scrappy deep East team that goes toe-to-toe with the Warriors this year. That's supposed to be us!

"Dominant MVP in his prime + solid role players and a good coach" is a tried and true formula.

Hard to beat that without a MVP type guy on your team, no matter how deep you are.

Of course, we have to wait and see how they do in the playoffs.

They don't have anybody on their team that really scares me other than Giannis, and his lack of shooting limits how dangerous he can be.

Khris Middleton scares me.

He's a solid wing, but I don't think he's a guy who will beat you.

Actually I think the Celts match up quite well with the Bucks overall.  But Niko gives them four or five guys apart from Giannis who can score well.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Unless Rozier improves and Hayward takes positive steps forward, it is going to be hard for Boston to get out of round 2. Bench is just not good enough.

But if Hayward scores 2 or 3 points in games in the playoffs, it will be difficult.

Looks like Bucks have improved.

Sixers and Bucks will be one hell of a series in the 2nd round.

Man, Bucks are going to be really tough. Already a matchup nightmare for the Cs, adding Mirotic to the mix too. They can make it rain 3s.

They are the best team in the East right now and the team to beat.

Yeah, give Milwaukee credit. They have an MVP candidate and they're making the right moves to put a contender around him. Toronto never scared me, but this Bucks team has to be the favorite to come out of the east.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

They have to so they don’t get Anthony Davis’d in a few years

Boston needs to get rid of Bird asap. Need the roster spot. My guess is they are going the buyout road.

This is why Boston needs to finish 2 or 3 in the east. You avoid Philly or Milwaukee. Rather play Toronto in round 2.

I am definitely scared of Mirotic as an added piece. I really was hoping he would not end up on Toronto, Bucks or Philly...

I guess Danny thinks the bench he has is good enough...but it is not.

Was hoping Rozier would be shipped out today.

For what?  Is there a player out there that makes $3.8 million that you want more than Rozier?  $6 million if you throw in Jabari Bird?  Mirotic is nice — he’s not that much better than someone like Ellington who will be bought out.

Besides, deadline acquisitions are often overrated.  The team is finally starting to gel — mixing in someone for a few months might not be worth it.  We were all excited for Greg Monroe last season, but that turned out to not be very helpful.

I am not scared of Mirotic at all.

Opposing executives believe the Boston Celtics will be among the teams with interest in Enes Kanter if/when the Knicks big man parts ways with NYK.

Interesting.
