Well, we'll bounce back from this.

You'll see a game like this every now and then.

Glad we got our "terrible" game out of the way.

Next game not until Wednesday vs DAL?

Get some rest, C's.

  • Rondo = Good
Can somebody tell me in what way the Pacers are a worse basketball team than the Celtics?

I'm having trouble thinking of it right now.

Rebounding?  Nope.
Defense?  Nope.
Size?  Nope.
Composure?  Well . . . based on that fourth quarter . . . Nope.
Scoring options?  Naw.
Depth?  Nope.

Somebody help me out here.

Wow.  Just wow.  Pacers really just look like the calm and collected team out there.  They're a bunch of young guys and they look like the ones with championship experience.

Yeah, they're better.

More than a bit premature.  The only long-term concern from this game was our weakness on the boards.  Neutered our transition game, turned it into a shooting contest: Indiana had more shots and thus the win.

What a demoralizing loss, what were the positives? Ray Allen can still drain the 3?

I'm not sold Indiana is better than us.  An average Paul Pierce game makes this at the very least a few point game differential.

Well, at least this team can still play defense (if you don't count blocking out as a part of it).
KEEP. PLAYING. DEFENSE.

Rondo and Pierce are much better than Collison/Granger.  KG's about even with West at his current level of play.  Ray is still a better player than George.  Hibbert's an advantage over JO, but JO eliminates much of his scoring ability.

Bass is a better player than Hansbrough (gets rebounds, but shoots a terrible %).

George Hill is much better than anything we have at back-up guard.  Jeff Foster is better than WIlcox/Stiemsma (although Wilcox is capable of a lot more than he's showing).

No need to overreact.

Edit: Daniels and Dahntay Jones are a wash for me.  Pietrus is better than Jones by a fair margin.

It was refreshing (but sad that it wasnt us) to see a team who battled for offensive boards. A team who wasn't already back on the other end of the court before the ball even left the shooters hands. How many second chance points did the Pacers have? Why don't we EVER try to get them for ourselves? And is boxing out some kind of foreign term in our locker room???

I am really just so...disgusted.

Did you watch the Wizards game?  Forget wins and losses, this kind of game will happen more often this season.  KG is washed up.
