I don't think the Bengals can score two TDs on the Jets' defense in 12 minutes.

Of course, as I type that the Bengals get the ball at the 45 yard line, so who knows?

I think the Bengals will still need a big special teams play, turnover, or just a big offensive play to pull it off.

Its not over but the Bengals played like crap the past several weeks and it shows. Injuries and poor play have caught up with them.

The way their offense has looked in 3+ quarters?  I agree.

I'd love to see it happen but it's going to be tough.  Plus, the Jets have that run-control offense which kills the clock.  So the Bengals have a real uphill battle.

There's the big offensive play.

Where was this Cedric Benson when he played for the Bears?

There is one.

By the way watching two former Bears number one backs have serious success makes me very very angry. Jones/Benson have shown that the problem was not the backs, but the line/scheme. I know Benson was a cad, but he could play. ARGH

He'd have halves that were awesome, then the coaches would pull him out and not play him for a quarter. He didn't deal with that well mentally.

I think Benson needs to be the featured guy to stay mentally check in at all times. That combined with the shock of being cut have allowed him to flourish. Well that and a good offensive line...

Yeah, Jones was pretty decent while with the Bears, but you're right, the offense has been screwed up for years.  I think the problem with Benson was a combination of things, which were in large part related to his work ethic.

I think having Jones there and paying Benson so much really hurt too. Having a lot of the team hate him made things worse.

Meanwhile the Jets hit a huge pass play, the Bengals just can't seem to get ahead of the eight ball on this one.

Yeah even a FG will make it almost impossible for the Bengals to win this.

If Rex is smart, he kicks the FG here.
