Here's a new positive article on him from draftexpress:

http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Evan-Fournier-Stepping-Up-in-France-3899

I didn't realize he is only 19.

Quote
He possesses ideal physical attributes for a NBA wing at 6-7 with a strong frame, and has the ability to create his own shot very effectively thanks to his excellent size, strength, and ball-handling skills. Despite his height, he's able to get very low with his dribble, showing terrific footwork and body control driving into the lane, often using crafty change of speed moves, spins and hesitations.

Defensively, Fournier has the ability to be very effective when he's dialed in and using his excellent size and anticipation skills to his advantage. Unfortunately, he's very inconsistent in his effort, looking quick to relax in his stance and not doing a great job bending his knees and being physical fighting through screens. This, coupled with his short (6-7 ½) wingspan and average lateral quickness, makes him fairly ineffective trying to stay in front of quicker guards on the perimeter, which is somewhat of a concern looking to the NBA.

Despite his (highly improvable) weaknesses as a perimeter shooter and defender, Fournier is a very intriguing NBA prospect thanks to his extremely intriguing combination of size, ball-handling ability, scoring instincts and productivity. Considering his age (he's younger than many collegiate freshmen, such as Austin Rivers and Cody Zeller), and the improvement he's shown over the past 18 months, Fournier obviously has plenty of room to continue to grow as a prospect over the next few years.

I think they'll resign pietrus to be honest... but I agree that we need to draft a big man. none of this wing bull, none of this austin rivers bull, but a center that as shown promise to thrive in the next level

The list of centers that have shown promise to thrive is very slim. True big men (6'10+ post players) usually take so long to develop that by the time they develop they are no longer with the team that drafted then. Clifford Ray proved to be a great developer of bigs with Al and Perk but that's not the norm.

To rebuild quickly the Cs just need good young basketball players regardless of position.

Waiters looks like a more athletic E'twan Moore, and should be really solid on both ends of the court. An excellent super sub, already accustomed to the role.

The question with Waiters, is the upgrade in athleticism over Moore worth spending a first round pick?

Waiters would be a replacement for Ray Allen not Moore. Ray right now is playing the part of the sixth man, which Waiters would definitely be perfect for. Moore is not in the rotation.

Evan Fournier? Surely you mean Vincent Furnier?

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

Assuming we can't package the picks to move high enough for a truly special player, I would be on board with Fournier, especially if he stays in France for another year or two.  He looks like he needs some more time to develop, and I'd rather he do that over there on their dime, and come here ready to contribute from year one (or year two if Doc is still coaching).

Ten points to Hufflepuff for the obscure trivia reference!
