What exactly were the terms of the trade for us to get this pick and Dooling for our Exception?

2012 second round draft pick from Milwaukee
Milwaukee's own 2012 2nd round pick to Boston (top 44 protected in the 2012 Draft). If Milwaukee's own 2012 2nd round pick is in the top 44 picks, then Milwaukee's obligations to Boston shall be extinguished. [Boston - Milwaukee, 12/9/2011]

by the way, Milwaukee by 6 and the ball with 8:00 left in the 4th quarter. Go Bucks!  ;)

Thanks.

Looks like we will just miss out.

Well, another L for the Bucks means things get harder. Meanwhile, Denver and Houston are losing here and there, so Utah and Phoenix still have hopes for a playoff spot and really try to win.

It looks like we won't get the pick, unless the Bucks start a winning streak. We'll see, but just for fun I'll try to predict  ;)

The schedule for the Bucks is:

W 4/18 @ Washington
L 4/19 @ Indiana
W 4/21 vs NJ
W 4/23 vs Toronto
W 4/25 vs Philly
W 4/26 @ Celtics

Record: 5-1 Total 34-32

The schedule for the Jazz:

L 4/16 vs Dallas
W 4/18 @ Portland
L 4/21 vs Orlando
W 4/24 vs Phoenix
W 4/26 vs Portland

Record: 3-2 Total 34-32

The schedule for the Knicks:

L 4/17 vs Celtics
L 4/18 @ NJ
W 4/20 @ Cleveland
L 4/22 @ Atlanta
W 4/25 vs Clippers
W 4/26 @ Charlotte

Record: 3-3 Total 34-32

The schedule for the Suns:

W 4/16 vs Portland
L 4/18 vs OKC
W 4/19 vs Clippers
L 4/21 vs Denver
L 4/24 @ Utah
L 4/25 vs San Antonio

Record 2-4 Total 33-33

The schedule for the Sixers:

L 4/16 @ Orlando
W 4/17 vs Indiana
L 4/18 @ Cleveland
L 4/21 @ Indiana
W 4/23 @ NJ
L 4/25 @ Milwaukee
W 4/26 @ Detroit

Record 3-4 Total 34-32

So in the unlikely case I predicted it well we'd have Utah,NY,Philly and Milwaukee tied for the 15th spot, so there'd be a random drawing held by Board of Governors in order to break ties (link)

Even in this improbable scenario, the Bucks would have to beat the Celtics to have a chance to get to the playoffs and give us their 2nd round pick. So it looks even more difficult after all the prediction game, but still I'd love the pick. Go Bucks!

By the way, Clippers & Celtics hold the 7th and the 8th best records, so right now our picks are #23, #24 and #53.

As happy as I am about the turn around the teams had the past month, it sucks that the success (and the clippers similar turn around), leaves us a much worse draft position. When it looked like we'd have 2 picks in the mid teens, I was REALLY looking forward to see what draft moves we'd make. Now it's far less likely that any of the lottery players like rivers or sullinger will slip to us.

This draft is taking on mystical proportions.  It's good but let's not get carried away about a 2nd round pick.

Ok, the Bucks lost his 4th game out of the last 5, and they are 2 1/2 games behind Philadelphia, Phoenix & Houston. It's amazing how ugly things got for the Rockets.

Good luck Bucks, I'll check back when you play the Celtics on last regular season game.

Go Celtics!!

So the Celtics get nothing...right?

Not even in future years?

Correct.

I think Milwaukee has to win out and both Phoenix and Houston need to lose out for a chance (all three teams need to have 33 losses).

And even then I am not sure of the tiebreaker scenarios.
