I love Biyambo, but if it proves all too difficult to trade way up to get him, I LOVE Kenneth Faried's game. I really see him being successful in the league as a defensive/shotblocking/rebounding presence. Call me crazt, but I love these long, undersized 4 and 5 players. They remind me of Bill Russell. It also looks easier to trade up to the high teens or so to draft Faried. What do ya'll think?

Living near Morehead Ky., I watch Faried very closely and alot. The guy is a Ben Wallace clone. Cant shoot worth a darn but can out jump anyone. Very fast and strong. He can rebound and block. Not a very smart player but in the right system, he could fit very nicely. Is he a top 10 pick, maybe not. But if I was picking in the middle of the 1st, theres no way i would pass on him if u needed a rebounder and a guy who will hustle.

I love faried he's a rare rebounder in that he's a position rebounder who can out jump players for boards.  his best skills, defense and rebounding would allow him to get on the court immediately.

Danny, trade up for another pick, PLEASE! Kenneth Faried, is perfect for this team. Would love a line-up (not starting, at least not this year) like this:

PG Rajon Rondo
SG Avery Bradley
SF Jeff Green
PF [free agency]
C  Kenneth Faried

THAT would be an athlethig, young, fast and dangerous group! Not many teams could hold up with that pace.. KF would be more than great, trade for this guy!

And.. he would prob. give us som highligh t worthy posters.. im also talking about avery
Doc's gonna tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

If Bradley and Faried are the starters for the Celtics in the future, we are in big trouble!! Both would be great back-ups but not starters..and i dont see Faried playing that much center anyways..he's 6-8 and depends what team we are playing

No one in the history of NCAA Basketball has more rebounds than Kenneth Faried. He is a perfect compliment to Rajon Rondo. Tommy Heinsohn will tell you, you can't run if you can't rebound! The Celtics need a tough, hard working rebounder like Faried. His energy will help us immediately and I see him becoming a Udonis Haslem like player later in his career.

I like that guy. Yeah maybe he's only 6'8" but he has a 7'0 wingspan and 9' standing reach. That will help out a lot. I don't care if our starting center is 7' or not as long as he rebounds like a champ and blocks shots. They say that is what this kid can do.

I do also like Jeremy Tyler who measures out very well for a center, 6'10"+ 260lbs and he longest player in the combine at 7'5". Risky but a good option if Faried is gone by 25.

How can you not love the way Kenneth Faried plays the game?  That motor is unstoppable.

However, hate to be a party pooper here, but isn't there a chance he's the next Stephane Lasme?
