Celtics down 8. Huh.

Also, I hate refs.

I haven't watched the game and I hate them from what I've read here.
I'm amazed we're even in this
Still don't believe in Joe.

So we should adjust our normal rotations whenever we're down by 11ish?

meh...miami miami will keep this at an 11-15 point lead the rest of the way...no need for the starters to tread water and lose tomorrow night's game also tonight
I don't think you can tell a team of competitive athletes that you're giving up with 15 minutes to play when its only 10 or so points.

just would hate to burn so much energy to keep it close and really hurt tomorrow's game...this team needs to win one of these 3 roadies

at least they're consistent - always against the C's.  I used to think maybe I was overreacting to the refs last year but seeing the C's were dead last in FT attempts just makes me feel validated in those thoughts.  (yeah, that and $2 will get me a cup of coffee)

  • You say when......
Ths is classic doc rivers..hiding under the bench saying.."fix it kg"   i got no ideas....ever wonder if young guys could cover wade or lebron...well, of course they could get there quicker, jump faster, learn and recover faster..this is what i hate about doc....he can draw up a play...but he will never play or try anything new.....sign new people....why....just pay 7 guys...that is all doc will play anyway....!
Have you noticed how 10 players have checked into the game tonight?

for the riual minute..? oh look your guy MD is back in.yay...turnover kid....the usual 6 is all we get...those guys were in for what 3 minutes....wow.
4 bench players played 8 minutes in the first half, that isn't real playing time?

If you're going to by hyperbolic don't get upset when it turns out you are flat out wrong.

you are just watchng your own game in your own world
Indeed I am watching the game where I recognize that Doc has played a 9 man rotation, not a 7 man rotation like you claimed. A nine man rotation has always been what he has done, and it is also what the majority of the NBA does. (The Heat for example have also had 9 men in for regular minutes)

As for all of the personal attacks, cut it out or we'll have to handle it formally.

treat me they way you wsh to be treated, please..and no other team is lke the celtics...as in OLD...it doesn't matter what other teams do or don't do..it is what we need to do...we can lose tonght, it really isn't the end of the world...but to season some young guys..to get them learning how to cover wade and lebron, bosh..that is preparing for the future, as in the playoffs...which, as Barkley says, is all that matters...and i believe it too..!

I have 2 1/2 positives this early season - rondo, bass and a half for ray

Time to experiment entirely defensively, and I agree. The 2-3 zone is worth a look.

8 point game with the whole 4th to go....

So I guess its not a blowout and I guess the rookies should stay on the bench and I guess the Celtics should actually try to win this game.

Imagine that!!!!!

It's not just the zone.  Going small has increased the team speed.  We were way too slow with the KG/JO frontcourt.

I think we have to start viewing KG as a 5.

celtics will never get the benefit of the doubt with these calls. They have to beat Miami decisively.

It's amusing watching the refs officiate, because they try and give the impression that they're neutral, but it's even more obvious that they're calling the game in blatant favor of the Heat.

Well, you don't play rookies just because they're there. NO way either one of them is ready to defend and play at the pace Miami is playing.
