Why are we still talking about this dude? He's not the best player on a championship team, especially not a team with 3 other all-stars. We can safely switch out the green goggles now and enjoy the inevitable success of this year's squad, with or without him.
Might be something to do with him being our most decorated and talented player
You can be darn sure tarheels, tenn_smoothie and Moranis will be up in arms over this statement.
Well Horford is the most decorated, though Irving probably is the most talented. He is not the best player though, that is Hayward.
If you include his NCAA titles then yeah, but NCAA victories mean nothing in the NBA, where Kyrie is as decorated if not more so than Horford ana is 6 years his junior
Both are 5-time all stars but Kyrie was an All Star game MVP. both have made 1 All NBA 3rd Team, Horford made the All Rookie 1st Team but Kyrie was Rookie of the Year, Horford has made an All Defensive Team that Kyrie hasn't. Kyrie is a champion and Horford isn't.
It's pretty close. Depending on how much you weigh the individual achievements could tilt just who is "more decorated".
