So after D. Murray put up 44 points on 44 shots the other night, Brunson last night with 61 points on 47 shots. Have a feeling we'll see more of this down the stretch especially as games start to not really matter for a majority of the league either locked into seeding or already eliminated. Maybe we should let Tatum take 50 shots in a meaningless game and see what happens lol, maybe he puts up 70+ points

No, Mazzulla's idea of experimenting is to let Porzingis try to defend fast guards.

That’s far more useful than Tatum taking 70 shots.

Yes, I think the goal was to get it on film and see what they could do to combat it in the playoffs, when it will happen. if you keep sending help eventually teams will figure out how to get the ball to the open guy so that’s what the film sessions will be focused on, how to shore that up

Really starting to shake out in the east.

I think Miami ends up the 6 or 7 seed

Pacers the 6 or 7 seed

Sixers will have to fight for the 8 seed with Bull/Atlanta

Boston vs Sixers/Bulls/Hawks
Bucks vs Heat/Pacers
Knicks vs Heat/Pacers
Magic vs Cavs

I prefer:

Boston vs 8 seed
Bucks vs Pacers
Knicks vs Heat
Cavs v Magic.

That to me is the ideal path to the finals for Boston. C's would only have to get one of the Bucks. Heat, Pacers or Knicks in the ECF.

bucks may not make it out of the first round if that is their matchup.

I don't think OKC needs to do that much.

I love their Big Three of SGA, J-Dub, Chet. I also love their role players of Giddey & Dort.

They need a legit backup big man. If they could find a way to get someone like a Varejao to come off the bench behind Chet, that would be ideal. Allow them to big with a twin towers approach at times.

Cason Wallace is an interesting young backup PG. Isaiah Joe a young backup SG.

Giddey is actually really mediocre. He has regressed and hasn’t improved his shooting at all. He probably isn’t part of a closing 5 in a playoff game
He seems to have turned the corner a couple weeks ago.  I think his scandal weighed on him for a while, but he has been playing much better lately.  He does a lot of things pretty well when he is playing with confidence.  You are right about his shooting but I think he's a pretty good fit with J Williams and Dort shooting so well from 3.

I would expect we see JB miss a few games here coming up. No way he plays vs Charlotte.

Pacers put Laker fans on the Jumbotron and used crying filter. Pretty funny and will be replicated

Embiid is with the Sixers on their current road trip and it sounds like he'll be back at some point late this upcoming week or the next one. So buckle up.

The West play-in looks exciting. Looking like it could be SAC/PHO/LAL/GSW. Great matchups, lot of elite players with two of them eliminated at the end (hopefully LAL one of them)

Embiid is never in shape when he is healthy. I am skeptical that he is going to be a major impact.

That play in sixers v heat will be something tho. I would love for the heat to not make the playoffs at all.

He’ll return against the Grizzlies on Saturday. Book it

Malik Monk out for 4-6 weeks. Significant blow for Sacramento's chances of success in the playoffs.

Oh wow, Huerter too. Huerter out for the season. Both of their SGs and their 5th/6th men overall. Weakened side for the postseason.

A few months ago I thought the Cavs could be a real threat but now I just see them as potentially one-and-done again. Depends on who they face but won't be easy with MIA, IND or PHI with Embiid. The C's could face one of them too but I think the 2-3 bracket in the East this year is a tough place to be. MIL-CLE will have a tough path and will have to beat the other up to make the ECF. But then again, NY might be the 3 seed as they've been 7-3 their last 10. There could be a lot of change between seeds 3-4.

Think the Heat are going to finish no lower than 7. Most likely hosting Philly in the play in.

If I had to predict, MIA wins that and faces MIL first round. Boston plays winner of Philly and Chicago (who I predict beats ATL in the 9-10 game). So get your Bulls gear and color ready for that night  :)

Agree. Think this is the way.
