Per Shams,

The Dallas Mavericks have waived forward Kostas Antetokounmpo, who’s on a two-way NBA deal.

Time for the Bucks to step up in their quest to keep Giannis.

Expected to be claimed by Toronto
I'm assuming waiver claims are based on regular season wins so Toronto is ahead of Milwaukee in the queue.  Don't see why a team ahead of Toronto wouldn't claim him especially if they had hopes of getting Giannis in a couple years.

And yet Toronto is going to claim him.  If you've got the spot and have hopes of getting Giannis in free agency, why not build some goodwill by getting his brother and showing him how good your org is.  Did the Bucks give Giannis' older brother a contract because of his abilities or his name?

heads to the Lakers on a two-way deal.

Not surprised he didn't make it to Toronto.  Giannis/AD on the Lakers would be nasty in a couple years.

so giannis will go to LA just because they signed his brother? If he wants to play with his brother so bad, why didn't be force a trade to the mavs

No but its an opportunity to make a good impression in case Giannis decides to leave the Bucks.  Maybe you didn't notice the Bucks signed his other brother.

Bradley Beal's extension not a done deal?

Around the league the extension is not viewed as a done deal and there is a growing belief that Beal will not remain in Washington for the entirety of his career. “He’s out of there,” one well-placed person within the NBA predicted.

I would trade Smart and Brown for Beal.

Beal has a playoff career average of 22.7 points per game.
He's a legit star player.

Kemba + Beal + Hayward = The best 1, 2, 3 in the NBA.

That's assuming Hayward returns to All-Star form.

Add Jayson Tatum to that mix and it would be similar to that of Curry, Klay, Draymond, and KD.

I know there are a lot of Jaylen Brown fans who don't want him traded, but Beal is a sure thing, Brown is not.

I would be sad to see Smart go but dang is that a good team on paper! Kemba-Beal-Hayward-Tatum. I can see it running into chemistry issues though. None of those 4 particularly excel at doing the small stuff. And who would give up shots? I mean, Draymond Green would score in single digits to make way for 3 premiere scorers. Which of those 4 would do that?

Wrong as usual. He became a decent shooter. He is a good playmaker. He's someone who's okay playing off the bench or taking fewer shots. Good defense? You don't get all defense 1st team with just "good" defense.

After our last season where we struggled without Smart or Baynes, and the problem arising from players wanting shots, you still dont get his value?!

Elite defense that can guard 4 positions and a 3 point shot.  Plus he can play with the ball or off the ball and isn’t a selfish player.
2019 historical draft.  Pick 12

Tim Duncan, Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, Scottie Pippen, Willis Reed, Mitch Richmond, Sam Jones, Dan Majerle, Bob Cousy, Rasheed Wallace, Shawn Kemp, Marcus Camby

I would also trade Smart and either Brown OR Tatum for Beal. A Kemba/Beal backcourt would be one of the best in the NBA.

Tatum??? I wouldn’t trade Tatum for Beal. Let alone Tatum + Smart
