What beer do you dislike/hate most?

I voted for anything with Ice in it. I'm terrified to try the bud light platinum cause I'm just assuming it is the same thing as Bud Ice. Also Genny light and Genesee.

Out of beer that costs more than $10 a 30 I'd probably say Rolling Rock kinda sucks and I am not a big fan of Honey Brown at all.

Honey Brown is the best cooking beer I've ever found. Cheapish, good to drink, and good for stews, sauces, marinaides (do I really not know how to spell that?), anything.

Least favorite beer:  Hoegarden (Belgian wheat beer) tastes like p---, warm or cold.  I'd rather drink a 6-pack of formaldehyde-laden Schlitz from the 60's again.

Honey Brown is the best cooking beer I've ever found. Cheapish, good to drink, and good for stews, sauces, marinaides (do I really not know how to spell that?), anything.

Wow, Honey Brown. That's a blast from the past.

Had a batch of homebrew that turned out pretty much undrinkable. But setting a dish of it out twice a week has done a good job of trapping slugs in the flowerbeds out back.

The most recent disappointing beer I had: Sam Adams Mighty Oak. A red ale (strike one) that had been oak aged (strike two).

No subtlety or complexity to this beer at all, just a big mouthful of wet wood.

Yeh the summer mix pack is pretty boring.  They had a limited edition mixed IPA 12 pack that was as good as anything I've had Sam wise.  Unfortunately I didn't know it was a limited edition or I would have bought more.

I don't mind Mighty Oak, although I get why it's disappointing. Sam Adam is like five guys. You get above average, but not special, not unique, and not excellent.

I loved that IPA pack, but none of them held a candle to the elite IPAs out ther, in any of the variations they tried. But where I am, paying 14 bucks for 12 average IPAs with a little variety is a win.

I almost voted for the first option; "Dislike a beer? Have you gone mad?," but then I saw that you had an option for berry flavored beer and had to vote for that one.  I've never met a berry beer that I've liked, and I've been offered many and had folks tell me, "no, trust me, you'll love this beer, it doesn't taste like the other fruity, berry beers you've tried."  None of them have been for me.  I simply don't like the taste of berries in my beer.

Otherwise, i can enjoy just about any beer.

not sure if it's true, but a brewer once told me Blue Moon is filtered and then has a clouding agent added to make it look unfiltered, as it is cheaper to do it with the same process they do their other beers with...crazy

I drink Bud Light pretty regularly, and to be perfectly honest, I cannot tell the difference between the regular and the Platinum.  I'm convinced it's the same beer just with 1% more alcohol.

In fact I'm drinking one right now!

Oh, by the way, maybe it's just where I live or I don't pay enough attention, but I haven't seen beer for $10/30 pack in years.

I didn't see it on the list, but Red Hook ESB has to be one of the absolute worst.  I only even thought of it because I drove by the brewery today.  Really awesome place to go (they have some decent local bands that play there sometimes) but terrible beer.

That checks out, and further increases my hate for blue moon. Not because the beer is intolerable, but because of the 'microbrew' it pretends it is.

Perhaps you got a bad batch? I pick up a bomber of ESB every now and then whenever I have a hankering for a bitter.
